    With huge and profound sadness we learned of the sudden passing of Shane O Hanlon, The Logistics Manager for Dublin GAA SF,  last Saturday evening here on Costa del Sol.  Shane was a dear friend of ours and we worked closely together managing the Training Camps for Dublin SF in 2022 and 2023 in Algarve.     U17 Denmark, U17 Hungary, U17 Republic of Ireland and U17 Switzerland gather in Murcia today to go head to head over the next 10 days in preparation for their respective UEFA U17 Elite Rounds next month. The week at Pinatar Arena is a critical one for the 2007s on the road to the UEFA U17 finals in Cyprus in May. Great to work with MLSZ, FAI, DBU and SFV again.

  • Republic of Ireland MNT and New Zealand MNT draw 1-1 in Dublin.

    Republic of Ireland MNT and New Zealand MNT completed their last match of 2023 this evening with a 1-1 draw at Aviva Stadium in front of 26,000 fans in Dublin. Adam Idah opened the scoring for Rep of Ireland with Matt Garbett levelling for New Zealand.     Republic of Ireland U18 and Belgium U18 Be Gold completed their week long training camp and double header this afternoon with Belgium emerging 4-0 winners. This followed on from Rep of Ireland´s 2-0 win 2 days earlier where goals from Nikson Okoson and Taylor Mooney secured a win for Colin O Brien´s side.     Greece emerged 2-0 winners over New Zealand this evening in a FIFA Tier 1 Friendly International at the Georgios Kamaras Stadium in Athens in a closely fought contest with two first half goals from Konstantelias and Giakoumakis the difference between the two sides. As New Zealand build towards FIFA World Cup Qualification matches VS high ranked UEFA opponents will be invaluable on this journey.
