Republic of Ireland complete UEFA Regions Cup Finals training camp at La Manga Club

Republic of Ireland completed their warm weather training camp at La Manga Club today with a 2-1 win over the La Manga Club High Performance Academy with goals from Shane Stritch and Thomas Dunne sealing the win for Ireland in a very competitive and high tempo game in Murcia.

Both sides made 7 changes from the previous day when they drew 1-1 in an equally competitve match played at the tempo of a UEFA qualification fixture with a fine header from Paul Breen in the first half only cancelled out by a late equalizer from La Manga.

The 5 day camp proved to be a huge success for Ireland in terms of team building, training and matches to prepare for next months UEFA Regions Cup Finals which the Football Association of Ireland will host in Dublin from 26th of June to 4th of July featuring Turkey, Bosnia, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Northern Ieland, Croatia as well as the hosts.
