Marcos Sorato wins UAE Futsal National League with Al Wahdah

Congratulations to Milenio Sports client and Head Coach Marcos Sorato who has won the UAE Futsal National League at the first attempt with a win over Dibba on penalties following a 2-2 draw in extra time in the playoff match for the league title which took place at Al Ahli in Dubai this evening. This represents the first championship won by Al Wahdah Sports Club since its foundation in 2012 and adds to Marcos's reputation as one of the world's leading Head Coaches following his success as Head Coach of FIFA Futsal World Cup Winners Brazil in 2008 and more recently 2012 in Thailand. Al Wahda played 20 matches in the UAE National League, won 16, drew 3 and lost just once scoring an incredible 92 goals and conceding just 36. A brilliant season celebrated by all in Abu Dhabi this week!
