Republic of Ireland to play USA in Dublin on November 18th.

Republic of Ireland will play USA in Dublin on Tuesday November 18th at Aviva Stadium in a friendly A International Match organised by Milenio Sports Management.

This will be the third meeting of the two countries since 2000 with the last two meetings resulting in a draw in Foxboro in June 2000 and a 2-1 win for Republic of Ireland in Dublin prior to Ireland's participation in the FIFA World Cup Finals in Japan-Korea in 2002.

USA (FIFA Rank 15) won many new admirers with their excellent performances at FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 and Jurgen Klinsmann will be looking to build towards USA's hosting of the Centenary Copa America in 2016 with a strong programme of friendly Matches in 2014 and 2015.

Republic of Ireland (FIFA Rank 70) meanwhile will be looking for a result against USA at home on the back of two difficult away UEFA Euro France 2016 qualification matches against FIFA World Cup Winner's Germany in Gelsenkirchen on 14th of October and against Scotland in Glasgow on 14th of November.
