Following successful negotiations between Turkish Football Federation, Milenio Sports Management and Swedish Football Association, Milenio Sports is delighted to announce that Turkey will play Sweden in a friendly A International Match in Ankara on March 5th 2014.

This will be the first meeting of the two countries since they played out a 0-0 draw in Turkey on February 2008 in a friendly match in preparation for UEFA 2008 Austria - Switzerland.

Sweden (FIFA Rank 25)  will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of losing the FIFA World Cup playoff games in November while (Turkey FIFA Rank 44) will be looking to continue their opening sequence of wins in November under Head Coach Fatih Terim who is enjoying his second spell with Turkish National Team as Head Coach.
