Following successful negotiations between US Soccer Federation, Royal Belgian Football Federation and Milenio Sports Management we are delighted to announce that USA will play Belgium in Cleveland on May 29^th in a friendly International game.

This will be the second meeting of the two teams in as many years with Belgium emerging 1-0 winners in Brussels on September 6^th 2011 with a great strike from Nicholas Lombaerts on 55 minutes.

Since then Belgium have gone on to win 10,draw 4 and only lose 2 of their next 16 games entering into the top 20 of the FIFA Coca Cola World Rankings. The game in Cleveland (and training camp in New Jersey leading up to it) will form an essential part of their preparation for their critical FIFA World Cup 2014 group A qualification game against Serbia on 7^th of June.  Group A represents the tightest qualification group for Brazil in the UEFA confederation with nothing separating group leaders Belgium and Croatia.

For USA (FIFA Coca Cola ranked 33) the game against Belgium will prove an invaluable test in preparation for critical FIFA World Cup CONCACAF qualification games in June against Jamaica, Panama and Honduras.  USA will come into the game with great confidence having taken a point from Mexico in FIFA World Cup qualification yesterday at Azteca Stadium and having defeated Costa Rica last Friday in Denver in the most competitive CONCACAF FIFA World qualification group in many many years.
