Borussia Dortmund complete their first ICC China adventure with draw VS Manchester City FC

Borussia Dortmund completed their first ever China tour this evening with a 1-1 draw against Manchester City FC at Longgang Stadium Shenzen in front of 25,000 fans in the International Champions Cup China. A late late goal from Christian Pulisic on 96 minutes cancelled out the opener from Sergio Aguero on 78 minutes which led to an exciting penalty shoot out which BVB emerged on the wrong side of a 6-5 scoreline.

The match in Shenzen saw BVB complete a great 10 days in China which saw them engage heavily with their fast growing Chinese fan base, many of whom were present in Shanghai Stadium on July 22nd to witness an impressive BVB defeat Manchester United FC 4-1 with a double strike from Gozalo Castro and goals from Aubameyang and Dembele.

For Milenio Sports this represented another successful collboration with Catalyst Media, Le Sports and Relevent Sports where we managed the BVB Team Operation from start to finish and following on from AC Milan ICC 2015 China represented another really good project delivery.
